I am dedicating this week to my old chum Flann O'Brien, Myles na gCopaleen/Brian O'Nolan and my favorite poem in the title.
I'll give you the first two verses for betting men like me.

"When things go wrong and will not come right,
Though you do the best you can,
When life looks black as the hour of night-
A pint of plain is your only man.

When money's tight and hard to get
And your horse has also ran,
When all you have is a heap of debt-
A pint of plain is your only man."

That's how I am feeling now and later I'll complete the whole poem.
Thanks for standing by me and buying the plain.
