Like it or not, England and her brand of rugby is here to stay.
Once the ‘foreign’ element is removed, England will embrace the dominant NH partnership with whomever. Expect England to be consistent and outrageous.
I had hoped that England might return to the days of dignity Prince Obolensky style but that does not appear to be at all in the future.
That is, unless the likes of some big name party animals are to be overlooked.
I might include in that rowdy roster, and oh how is is full to
the brim, Tindall, Care, Ashton, Tuilagi, Lawes, Armitage, Hartley, Crane,Fodden, even a Banahan on the odd day.
There are numbers to replace these chaps.
I do not include in this any of the foreign hangerson like Botha, Fourie, & Waldrom but it is time that blokes like Wilkinson, players to be admired, step up and are picked.
I think Foden will be hard pressed to beat out Mike Brown but Brown can be an outlandish fellow and fall into the rowdy category.
I expect Stuart Lancaster to sort out the big egos and get rid of them sooner rather than later because rugby is a team sport, a combined effort, and players who exhibit individual brilliance or negative behavior at the team;s expense should be dropped for an entire campaign.
Let it not be said that I do not represent the tetotaller commission but, gentlemen, please, there is much room for some dignity.
Yes, this is the pot calling the kettle black.
At least the French keep a lid on the borderline criminal behaviour, as to the Jocks and the Paddies. It is the cowardly Welsh and arrogant American Beauties who are most at fault…and the source is the management…..I think Rowntree fits the mold, Farrell has to much at stake with his son involved, and Lancaster knows the business and cannot be afraid to sort them out. Hooray!
